1) Sometimes, a dad just needs to put a star on the top of his house. Of course, it looks best at the tippy top, creating a natural symmetry as the star and subject stand at the apex of the triangle. This is broken up by the diagonal of the hill.


2) Sometimes, kids just need to spray strangers with a water pressured fire extinguisher. The texture of water droplets is unmatched. Almost worth soaking your camera and lights...


3) Sometimes, a scouting shot just really works. The leading lines of the road, the car, the mountains, and the fence tickles something in my brain. It just invites a mobster to pull up and hire someone to execute Santa.
