We rarely see our home in the early hours of the morning. It can feel lifeless, still, and can help us see clearly the strangeness of our lives. The lifeless, cookie-cutter neighborhood photographed feels almost oblivious to the surreal mountains that look over it. Late at night, we can often see ourselves in a brand new light.
What do you want? It's a scary question. Sometimes, when we ask for help, we don't know what it is we're asking for. The darkness of being alone can feel almost more welcoming then the unknown stranger.
A door seals the home--seals it from the encroaching night. Inside, there could be safety, warmth, and comfort, Outside, the door stands as a fortress against any enemy of the night. It stands stoically, awaiting it's dismissal at dawn.

Henry, great job, I'm not sure what exactly is the point of emphasis in the first one, but thet are all striking images. The last two have a clear point of emphasis, but I'm curious about your intention and the impact you wish to have on your audience. You have very poetic descriptions of your images, and I like how this series, at least to me, had a bit of a sinister tone to it. Great work!
