1) I love the look of students on campus. One can learn a great deal just from looking at the clothes they wear, the books they carry, or the demeanor on their face. The square book, her square shoulders, and the many square windows in the background cause for an affinity of shape in the photograph.
2) This eerie, yet pleasant forest dwelling swing set is an immediate eye capture. Something about the age, the peculiar location, and the missing seats always causes a double take. The strong lines of the swing set create two mirroring triangles that give this photo it's strength.
3) Bored at football game? Think about shapes! The knees, the face, and the elbow create a pattern of circles. In contrast, the hard lines of the wall behind and to the side of the subject, as well as the square building and subsequently square shaped sky, this photo creates contrast between the subject and their environment

Hey Henry, I like how most of the shapes in your images are squares. Also, in your first photo, the mountain in the background almost forms a square to her right shoulder. Yes, theres a point, but beneath the mountain's peak, it's almost like a rectangle. I'm also definitely on board with you during the game picture and looking for shapes when you're bored at those games. I just think of the last movie I watched or the movie that I'm currently making, if I'm making a movie. One last thing that I like is how almost all of your images are black and white this week and in previous weeks. There's still something stunning about the details you can…
